Jahnvi was stepping into the leadership position for the first time, and it was daunting for her, even when she felt prepared to handle the new responsibilities. She was about to go from focusing primarily on her work quality to overseeing an entire team’s output. When she started with her new job title as the manager of her team, it all felt overwhelming to her.
